REDNESS THAT SHOWS UP
BEFORE YOU SAY A WORD.

Visible facial redness, broken capillaries, that flushed look — regardless of mood or temperature.

People asking if you're overheated or embarrassed when you're neither. Redness that gets worse with wine, exercise, or weather. Feeling like your face broadcasts things you didn't choose to share. The Stellar M22 targets and closes those vessels directly, calming redness at its source — physician-performed, not med-spa tech.

THE SCIENCE · TARGETED VASCULAR LIGHT

CLOSES THE
VESSEL. NOT THE SKIN.

The Lumenis Stellar M22 is a multi-application platform combining IPL with a dedicated vascular handpiece. Light energy is absorbed selectively by hemoglobin in the visible or broken vessel, heating and collapsing it while surrounding skin is left unaffected.

Because the treatment targets blood vessels specifically rather than resurfacing the skin's surface, it addresses diffuse redness, rosacea-associated flushing, and individual broken capillaries in the same session — without the downtime of ablative approaches.

THE SESSION · 20–30 MIN

WHAT HAPPENS
IN THE ROOM.

01
Skin Assessment
Dr. Taylor evaluates your redness pattern, vessel visibility, and skin type to set the treatment parameters for your session.
02
Cooling Gel
A cooling gel is applied to protect the skin's surface and improve comfort as light energy is delivered.
03
Light Pulses
The handpiece delivers targeted pulses across the treatment area — most describe a mild snapping or warming sensation.
04
Results Build
Treated vessels darken and fade over the following days to weeks. Redness reduction accumulates across a series of sessions.

WHAT STELLAR M22 ADDRESSES

BEYOND JUST
REDNESS.

Diffuse Facial Redness
Broad, flushed-looking redness across the cheeks, nose, and chin often associated with rosacea-prone skin.
Broken Capillaries
Individual visible vessels — often around the nose and cheeks — that concealer sits on top of rather than hides.
Flushing Triggers
Redness that spikes with wine, exercise, sun, or temperature change, even when the underlying vessels are already visible at baseline.
Sun-Related Redness
Vascular changes from years of sun exposure, often appearing alongside pigmentation concerns.
Uneven Skin Tone
Blotchy, uneven coloring from a mix of redness and pigmentation, addressed in the same treatment platform.
Physician-Performed
Every Stellar M22 session is performed or directly supervised by Dr. Randy Taylor, MD — not delegated to an esthetician.

IDEAL CANDIDATES

IS STELLAR M22
RIGHT FOR YOU?

✓ Great Candidates
Adults with visible facial redness, broken capillaries, rosacea-prone skin, or flushing that concealer can't fully hide. Those who want a targeted, physician-performed approach rather than an esthetician-run IPL.
✓ Pairs With Facials
Many clients combine Stellar M22 vascular sessions with medical-grade facials or IPL photorejuvenation for redness and pigmentation together — ask at your consultation.
⚠ Defer or Discuss
Active sunburn or recent significant sun exposure, certain medications, pregnancy, and some skin tones affect candidacy. Screening at consultation determines suitability.
✓ What to Expect
Treated vessels may look slightly darker or more visible for a few days before fading. Most return to normal activities the same day. A series of 3–5 sessions, spaced 3–4 weeks apart, is typical.

RESCU/FAQ · STELLAR M22

Common questions.

How many sessions do I need for redness?
Most clients see meaningful improvement over a series of 3–5 sessions, spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Redness reduction builds cumulatively as treated vessels close and fade. Maintenance sessions 1–2 times a year are common for rosacea-prone skin.
Is it painful?
Most clients describe a mild snapping or warming sensation, similar to a rubber band flick. A topical numbing option is available for sensitive skin. Sessions typically take 20–30 minutes.
What's the downtime?
Most clients return to normal activities the same day. Treated vessels may look slightly darker or more visible for a few days before fading. Sun protection is essential for at least 2 weeks after treatment.
Is Stellar M22 the same as regular IPL?
The Stellar M22 is a multi-application platform that combines IPL with a dedicated vascular handpiece, allowing more targeted treatment of visible vessels and diffuse redness than IPL alone.
Who should avoid this treatment?
Active sunburn or recent significant sun exposure, certain skin tones and conditions, pregnancy, and some medications can affect candidacy. A physician screening at your consultation determines whether it's appropriate for you.
