10-PASS
OZONE.

Physician-Owned · Scarsdale, NY

The most clinical procedure in the building — ten sequential passes of ozonated blood under physician hands, in a dedicated IV suite. This is not a spa add-on; it is a medical procedure that begins with a consult.

O³ · THE MOLECULE · THREE OXYGEN ATOMS

WHY OZONE
IS DIFFERENT.

Ordinary oxygen travels as O², two atoms, stable and inert. Ozone is : a third oxygen atom bound into a bent, restless molecule. That extra atom is loosely held, which makes ozone reactive, and that reactivity is exactly what the body responds to. Under medical conditions, that controlled reactivity becomes a signal, not a stress.

THE SCIENCE · OXIDATIVE PRECONDITIONING

WHAT OZONE
ACTUALLY DOES.

When ozonated blood re-enters the body, the O³ reacts instantly with fats and water in the plasma to form short-lived messengers, ozonides and peroxides. These don't linger; they act as a brief, controlled signal that wakes the cell's own defenses. Researchers call this oxidative preconditioning, a small, deliberate challenge that triggers a large adaptive response.

01

Nrf2 — the master switch

The ozonide signal activates Nrf2, the cell's antioxidant command pathway. Nrf2 moves into the nucleus and switches on the body's own protective enzymes — glutathione peroxidase, catalase, superoxide dismutase, heme-oxygenase-1. The result is a cell better equipped to handle oxidative stress than before treatment.

02

Mitochondria & oxygen use

Ozonides nudge cells to utilize oxygen more efficiently. The mitochondria, the engines inside each cell, are encouraged toward more efficient ATP production, the body's energy currency. Better oxygen utilization is one of the most cited reasons people report improved energy and clearer thinking.

03

Immune & inflammatory balance

The same signaling helps modulate the immune and inflammatory response — an initial cytokine pulse followed by a compensatory anti-inflammatory release. The aim is balance and resilience, not blunt suppression.

Mechanisms described above are drawn from peer-reviewed ozone-therapy literature (e.g. Bocci; Sagai & Bocci, 2011; Galiè et al., 2019). They describe biological pathways studied in research settings and are provided for education. They are not a claim that this service treats, cures, or prevents any disease.

THE 10-PASS DIFFERENCE · HYPERBARIC DELIVERY

WHY TEN
PASSES.

A traditional ozone session (MAH) treats roughly 200 cc of blood once, by gravity. 10-Pass is a different order of magnitude. Using a hyperbaric (pressurized) system, blood is drawn, ozonated under pressure, and returned — then the cycle repeats up to ten times in a single sitting. Pressure increases the surface area where ozone meets blood, so far more ozone is delivered, far deeper.

Figures reflect commonly published 10-Pass protocol parameters and the equipment used; exact volumes and concentrations are set by the physician per individual and per session.

IN THE IV SUITE · WHAT TO EXPECT

THE
PROCEDURE.

CONSULT

1 · Screening first

Every protocol begins with a physician consultation and intake. We review your history and order baseline labs, including G6PD, because this is a medical procedure, not a walk-in.

DRAW

2 · A measured draw

A precise volume of blood (about 150 cc) is drawn into a sterile, ozone-resistant chamber using gentle vacuum pressure.

OZONATE

3 · Ozonation under pressure

The blood is mixed with a defined concentration of medical-grade ozone under hyperbaric pressure — the step that defines 10-Pass.

RETURN

4 · Reinfusion × 10

The ozonated blood is returned to you, and the cycle repeats up to ten times. Most people describe the sensation as similar to a routine blood draw.

Many people feel clear-headed and energized afterward; some feel briefly tired the same day and report feeling better the next. We perform every session in a dedicated clinical IV suite, under physician supervision.

WHO EXPLORES IT · WELLNESS CONTEXTS

WHERE PEOPLE
CONSIDER IT.

In integrative and wellness practice, 10-Pass ozone is most often explored by people focused on the goals below. These are the contexts in which patients and clinicians study and discuss ozone — not a promise of outcome, and not a substitute for diagnosis or care from your physician.

Recovery & energy optimization
Immune resilience & balance
Athletic recovery & performance
Cellular & metabolic wellness
Healthy-aging & longevity goals
Oxidative-stress & antioxidant support
General vitality & mental clarity
Adjunct to a physician-directed plan
Circulation & oxygen-utilization focus

Ozone therapy is not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease (21 CFR 801.415). In New York it is offered under physician supervision with informed consent as an integrative wellness service. Any decision to pursue it is made individually with Dr. Taylor after consultation. Individual results vary.

SAFETY FIRST · SCREENING & CONTRAINDICATIONS

SCREENED,
NOT SOLD.

Because ozone is intentionally reactive, careful screening is the most important safety step. Some people should not receive ozone therapy. We screen for these before any session — and we will decline to proceed when it isn't appropriate for you.

Ozone therapy is generally not appropriate for:

  • G6PD deficiency (a genetic enzyme condition) — we test for this at baseline
  • Pregnancy or nursing
  • Uncontrolled hyperthyroidism
  • Active bleeding or serious clotting / platelet disorders
  • Recent heart attack or unstable cardiovascular disease
  • Active alcohol or drug intoxication
  • Known ozone allergy

Mild, temporary reactions, brief fatigue, mild aches, can occur as the body responds and typically settle within 24–48 hours. Tell your physician about all conditions and medications at your consult.

QUESTIONS · 10-PASS OZONE

GOOD TO
KNOW.

What is 10-Pass ozone therapy?

It's a hyperbaric form of ozone autohemotherapy. A measured amount of your blood is drawn, mixed with medical-grade ozone under pressure, and returned to you — repeated up to ten times in one session, treating roughly two liters of blood. That's far more ozone than a traditional single-pass (MAH) session.

Why is it called "10-Pass"?

Because the draw-ozonate-return cycle is repeated up to ten times in a single appointment. Each cycle is one "pass." More passes means more of your blood is exposed to ozone at a higher cumulative dose.

Does it hurt? How long does it take?

Most people describe it as similar to a routine blood draw. The ten-pass cycle typically takes 35–60 minutes depending on blood flow, with the full visit a bit longer.

How will I feel afterward?

Many people report feeling energized and clear-headed. Some feel briefly tired the same day and better the next. Any mild reaction usually settles within a day or two.

Is it FDA-approved?

No. Ozone therapy is not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. We offer it in New York under physician supervision with informed consent, as an integrative wellness service. We'll always be straight with you about what is and isn't established.

Who shouldn't get it?

People with G6PD deficiency, those who are pregnant or nursing, and people with uncontrolled hyperthyroidism, active bleeding/clotting disorders, recent cardiac events, or ozone allergy. We screen, including G6PD testing, before any session.

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes — always. Every ozone protocol starts with a physician consultation, intake, and baseline labs. It's a medical procedure performed by Dr. Taylor, not a spa add-on.
